Third generation electrical contractor; first getting hands on experience while in high school. Stuart received a BS in Industrial and Technical Education from East Carolina University in 1971. He has been a member of the North Carolina Association of Electrical Contractors since 1977 and has served in positions in the local division and at the state level including President. He is committed to training the next generation of electricians and electrical contractors as evidenced in his involvement with the New Hanover Electrical Apprentice Training Program and Cape Fear Community College Electrical/Electronics Advisory Board.
Robert Wiggs
Vice President
Graduate of Cape Fear Community College with a degree in Industrial Electricity and also a graduate of the North Carolina Department of Labor Electrical Apprenticeship Program. He has over 26 years experience in the electrical field from an electrical apprentice to an unlimited electrical license holder.
Melba Laney
Secretary
Has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from East Carolina University in Geography/Planning. She has 30 years of experience as a Community Planner for the North Carolina Department of Commerce, Division of Community Assistance in the Wilmington Regional Office and now serves as office manager for Laney Electrical Construction.
